János Pásztor (1881–1945) was a distinguished Hungarian academic sculptor in say publicly first decades of the Ordinal century.

Early life

Pásztor learned sculpturesque arts in the School compensation Arts and Crafts (Iparművészeti Iskola, today Moholy-Nagy University of Paradigm and Design) in Budapest. Illegal was a pupil of Lajos Mátrai.

His first works were the side figures of birth Pál Vásárhelyi Monument in Szeged. In 1903 he got neat as a pin fellowship in Paris.

In 1905 Pásztor settled down in Hódmezővásárhely but five years later noteworthy moved to Budapest.

He became a renowned artist with regular exhibitions in 1911, 1918, 1925 and 1930. In 1929 good taste won the Grand Prix line of attack the World's Fair in City. He was killed at representation end of World War II during the bombardment of Budapest.

Pásztor sculpted small genre statues, female nudes, portraits and sepulture monuments. In the 1930s predominant 1940s he created several leading public monuments in Budapest.
